Job Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept, design, prototyping, testing, certification, to mass production.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and Operations) to ensure timely development and launch of products.
- Identify market needs, customer requirements, and technology trends to define product roadmap.
- Manage technical specifications, documentation, and version control for all new products.
- Ensure products meet performance, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance (CE, BIS, RoHS, etc.).
- Optimize product cost through design improvements, vendor development, and BOM cost reduction.
Specific Skills Required
- Relevant experience on design & development of low ampere, low voltage, compact AC/DC power adapters.
Core Competencies Required
- Strong understanding of power supply electronics, circuit design, electronics hardware, embedded systems and mechanical design.
- Strong expertise in power adaptor design and development, power supply design and development.
- Knowledge of power components: MOSFETs, PWM controllers, rectifiers, transformers, magnetics, thermals.
- Understanding of testing standards: EMI/EMC, environmental, safety, reliability, CE/BIS.
